All of our organic ingredients are certified organic which we source from a number of ethical suppliers that we trust. Like us, many people are turning to organic farming as it's much better for the environment and sustainable. Organic farming use environmentally friendly methods to fertilise and prohibit the use of synthetic fertilisers. A critical part of the organic farming process is to restrict pesticides, which means that the crops are rotated naturally by crop rotation.
Although we create products that are natural and organic, it is still importnat to check that your skin type is a match for the product. For a simple patch test, take a small amount of the desired product and place on a small area of skin. Wait for 12 hours and if no irritation occurs go ahead and enjoy the product. Although all of our butters are whipped by hand, as we enter the warmer seasons products may deflate slightly or possibly melt in hot temperatures. It does not affect the safety or quality of the product, merely the texture and/or appearance. Please keep this in mind when ordering during warm months. Thank you!
My lip balm label states that my jar is PET plastic but it's glass. Why is this?
Please note that our lip balm jars has recently changed from 15ml PET plastic to 15ml Glass jars. The jars are still fully recyclable and made from 20% recycled material, however, until our new labels arrive the label will state that the jar is PET plastic. Please ignore and recycle with glass materials.
